Hebron USA missionaries Pablo and Jan Feliciano Cruz arrive in Charlotte on Friday afternoon.
They had a relaxing day at the lake on Saturday and then Pablo preached at Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning April 12. He spoke about taming the giants that we encounter in our everyday lives referencing the story of David and Goliath from 1 Samuel.
Pablo also shared the news that he has been tapped to lead a coalition of religious associations (other wise know as denominations here in the US) in Chiapas as they discuss the importance of religious tolerance. It is not uncommon for religious persecution to occur in the remote villages of Chiapas and Pablo has been called upon in the past to mediate and heal division that have occurred as a result of intolerance to different faiths or sects.
